The positive energy of traveling starts from traveler-friendly airports

Picture from mottimes.com
My article on Traveler-Friendly Airports now can be read on MOT/TIMES. Written is Chinese, but here is the summary:

The topic translated from Chinese is "The positive energy of traveling starts from traveler-friendly airports." Airport today is an important part of our lives and the facilities and services it offers should satisfy users' needs. By doing so, travelers can enjoy the airport experience more and thus, they can gain the positive energy through the first step of traveling. The facilities and services I focus on in this article are "public space", "green environment", and "flat-rate food and drink services". I use Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport as the main example - it builds the world's first airport park, library and museum. Also, I use Los Angeles International Airport's Tom Bradley Terminal and Hong Kong International Airport to support and Taiwan's International Airport to contrast.

Traveler's diary - interesting find

Well, I know McDonald's does not do any good to sustainability, both economically and culturally. However, design-wise, its new cup holder design is kind of smart.

This extra thick paper on the cup saves the trouble of the external 'slip' we usually get from coffee shops, which keeps falling down (I first saw this kind of design in 2010 in Copenhagen, Denmark). Not just that, it even incorporates 'loyalty card' and the 'point' (which is the coffee bean sticker). Something to think about, eh?

I am fond of/impressed with the seeming small yet important message Midnight in Paris conveys - live in the moment. Not past, not future, but the very moment. The intense emotion of Black Swan was overwhelming, but finding one's self is actually dark, storming like this...
